Fifty-four suspected ISIS members were detained by the Turkish authorities in Istanbul, police said on Tuesday.
All those arrested were foreign nationals and were believed to be preparing to travel to conflict zones in Syria, reported the private Dogan News Agency.
Police raided 19 addresses in over a dozen districts late on Monday. The suspects were transferred to police headquarters for interrogation.

ISIS has carried out a number of bombings across Turkey in recent years, including an attack on a nightclub in the capital in which 39 people were killed and a bombing in the city's historic heart that killed 12.
Turkish operations against the extremist group intensified at the end of last year on the anniversary of the nightclub shooting.
In April, police detained four key ISIS members including a so-called emir in charge of Syria's Deir Ezzor province.

The rules on fostering in the UAE
A foster couple or family must:
- be Muslim, Emirati and be residing in the UAE
- not be younger than 25 years old
- not have been convicted of offences or crimes involving moral turpitude
- be free of infectious diseases or psychological and mental disorders

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
