A fleet of supercars has been seen cruising exclusive districts of London in a sign that the cioty's famed Supercar Season may go ahead despite the coronavirus pandemic.
The convoy, including an Audi R8 Spyder, Lamborghini Huracan LP 640-4 Performante and a Ferrari 488 Spider, toured the city’s upmarket Mayfair district, drawing the eyes of shoppers as non-essential stores reopened on Monday.
Each year between June and August the proud owners of powerful luxury cars converge on London to show off their vehicles.
Many of the supercars sport registration plates from Gulf states, having been shipped to the UK by owners fleeing the heat of summer in the Middle East.
The events have gathered plenty of attention on social media in recent years, prompting car enthusiasts to descend on the UK capital to catch a glimpse of the rare models on display.
