Officials from the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi have highlighted the development of labour camps and their role in enhancing economic activity in the emirate, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic-language sister newspaper of The National.
The development of camps to ensure better living standards for workers reflects positively on quality and productivity. Officials underlined the importance of the decision to carry out internal and external infrastructure works at Al Razeen labour camp, with a total cost of Dh463 million
The decision will force all operators to ensure that the health, psychological and social welfare of their workers comply with global laws and legislation, said the council.
