Worker falls to his death in Sharjah



SHARJAH // A Bangladeshi worker fell to his death from the 46th floor of a building in Sharjah on Tuesday.

The operations room at Sharjah Police received a call at noon on the day of the incident notifying them that the man, a carpenter, had fallen to his death while working on a building under construction in Al Khan area.

The man was taken to Al Kuwait Hospital by ambulance to complete procedures.

The public prosecutor ordered the body to be sent to a forensic lab to determine the cause of death.

Meanwhile, Sharjah Police have urged business owners and architects at construction sites to ensure all safety requirements are met to avoid such accidents.
