Four women accused of stealing Dh4,500 from a tourist after holding him captive and stripping him naked have been cleared of all charges.
Dubai Criminal Court was told the man was allegedly ambushed by the defendants after being lured to an apartment in Al Rafaa by a massage advertisement in June of last year.
The 24-year-old claimed that the women locked him in the apartment, assaulted him and then forced off his clothes while filming him.
The four Nigerian women, aged between 28 and 33, were then said to have tied up the man and stole Dh4,500 from him before threatening to kill him if he told police.
The defendants appeared before court in November charged with confinement, theft, assault and breaching a man's modesty.
A security guard testified that he had spotted three women fleeing the building.
The four defendants were later arrested by police.
The alleged victim did not make clear how he had managed to free himself from his restraints after being left in the property alone.
The four women denied all charges against them in court last November.
They were found not guilty during the latest court hearing.
