Umm Al Quwain Police have announced a 50 per cent discount on fines for impounded vehicles.
The reduction - effective from August 5 until September 5 this year - will only apply to cars that have already been seized.
Police said the initiative was launched to help spread traffic awareness and to mark the Year of Zayed.
In July, Fujairah Police announced a three-month, 50 cent discount on impounded vehicle fines. Their scheme runs until September 30, 2018.
