The weather will be hot and hazy in the UAE today with temperatures reaching as high as 47°C in some parts.
There will be light to moderate winds in general, with blowing dust over some exposed areas as well.
Temperatures are expected to hit between 37 and 44°C in coastal areas, while internally they will range from 41 to 47°C.
The relative humidity will increase overnight, reaching highs of 90 per cent in some coastal regions.
The National Centre of Meteorology predicts that the sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
