Hot and dusty conditions are set to continue across the country, with cloud cover increasing in eastern and mountainous regions.
Hazy weather is expected in several areas accompanied by light to moderate winds, said the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said on Sunday.
Morning temperatures reached 35C in Abu Dhabi, with 46 per cent relative humidity.
Light to moderate winds in general may cause blowing dust over exposed areas in the country.
The highest temperature recorded in the country yesterday was 47.6C in Sweihan at 3pm.
The water will be slight to moderate in Arabian Gulf and in Oman sea.
Rain lashed some parts of the country on Saturday, including South Al Arad and Abu Krayyah in Al Ain.
