UAE traffic: smooth flow with few jams around Dubai

Live traffic reporting websites show smooth traffic flow across most areas of the UAE

With the exception of a few slowdowns at major intersections and arteries, traffic was moving at a regular pace across most of the country on Wednesday morning.

In Dubai, traffic jams were reported on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road from Maliha Road to Al Nahda Street.

At 7:35am, Dubai police reported that two accidents, one on Al Fai Road in front of City Centre Me'aisem, and another on Al Khail Road, were causing backups.

“Please be extra cautious,” Dubai Police tweeted.

Drivers were also facing congestion on Al Ittihad Road, beginning at New Al Nahda Park to Al Quds Street. Traffic in the roundabout at the intersection of Omar bin Al Khattab Street and Al Maktoum Hospital Road has also come to a standstill.

In Abu Dhabi, only one spot of congestion was reported on 19th Street in Mussafah.
