Be mindful of the words of the Prophet Mohammed and honour him by abiding by his Hadith, worshippers will be told on Friday.
They will be asked to remember the verse on veneration and reverence that commands them to abstain from any acts that have been forbidden.
Praise is due to God for gracing followers with the greatest messenger, who must be obeyed and whose guidance must be followed, according to the sermon.
Blessings and grace will be bestowed on those worshippers and their families who follow Prophet Mohammed’s example and always seek to emulate him.
As dutiful servants of God, followers must also remember what has been revealed to them in the Quran.
Remember the favour of God upon you and what has been revealed to you of the book and the wisdom by which He instructs you, and fear God and know that Allah is knowing of all things. [Quran: 2:231]
Worshippers will be reminded that God sent the best of creation in Prophet Mohammed to them.
Allah also conferred great favour upon the believers when he sent among them a messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book of Wisdom. [Quran: 3:164]
While the Quran is a revelation from Allah, the Hadith are also a revelation articulated by His prophet.
“Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination. It is not but a revelation revealed.” [Quran: 53:3-4]
The Hadith of the Prophet reaffirms what the Quran may have already addressed.
The Hadith clarifies and legislates what is in the Quran, such as specifics of worship, morals and the spiritual journey towards God.
The Quran revealed the command to perform the obligatory prayers and pay the charity or zakat, but it did not provide the exact details on how to do so.
Allah says: “Establish prayer and give zakat and obey the messenger that you may receive mercy.” [Quran: 24:56]
So the Prophet clarified exactly how to pray and the manner in which the prayers will be conducted.
Similarly, it is in the Hadith of the Prophet that worshippers will understand the details of the zakat, its conditions and the rules regarding the recipients.
The same is true for Hajj, which is mentioned in the Quran but it is in the sayings of the Prophet that worshippers learn to perform it.

Explainer: Tanween Design Programme
Non-profit arts studio Tashkeel launched this annual initiative with the intention of supporting budding designers in the UAE. This year, three talents were chosen from hundreds of applicants to be a part of the sixth creative development programme. These are architect Abdulla Al Mulla, interior designer Lana El Samman and graphic designer Yara Habib.
The trio have been guided by experts from the industry over the course of nine months, as they developed their own products that merge their unique styles with traditional elements of Emirati design. This includes laboratory sessions, experimental and collaborative practice, investigation of new business models and evaluation.
It is led by British contemporary design project specialist Helen Voce and mentor Kevin Badni, and offers participants access to experts from across the world, including the likes of UK designer Gareth Neal and multidisciplinary designer and entrepreneur, Sheikh Salem Al Qassimi.
The final pieces are being revealed in a worldwide limited-edition release on the first day of Downtown Designs at Dubai Design Week 2019. Tashkeel will be at stand E31 at the exhibition.
Lisa Ball-Lechgar, deputy director of Tashkeel, said: “The diversity and calibre of the applicants this year … is reflective of the dynamic change that the UAE art and design industry is witnessing, with young creators resolute in making their bold design ideas a reality.”
