SHARJAH // Two men have been arrested for stealing livestock in Sharjah.
The pair stole a large number of cattle and goats from farms in the central region of the emirate, police said.
Police received a number of reports from farm owners reporting the theft of cattle.
Following an investigation, a 23-year-old man identified as A B and M N, 25, were arrested.
During questioning, the pair, whose nationalities have not beem disclosed, confessed to thefts from farms in Sharjah and a neighbouring emirate.
Sharjah Police have referred the two men to Sharjah Public Prosecution for trial.
