UAE traffic: Commuters delayed between Sharjah and Dubai

The Sharjah-Dubai morning rush hour congestion stretched all the way on E11-Al Ittihad Street from Khalid Ibn Alwaleed mosque up until 20th street, just before Dubai.

Slow traffic could also be seen on Al Quoz Industrial Area 3, where traffic was moving at 12 km/hr according to the Waze traffic map.

Congestion was bad on Al Nahda Street, with cars crawling at 3 km/hr. Al Taawun Street was little better, with cars moving at 6 km/hr.

Similarly, the heavy morning traffic stretched across E311 – Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.

Traffic was calmer in Abu Dhabi, where no major jams were reported, although there was a slight build up on Al Khaleej Al Arab Street between the first traffic light on the Corniche and the next traffic light opposite Al Khaldiyah Park.

Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street outbound was busy in the area opposite the Mangrove National Park.

No accidents were reported.
