Two Emiratis were killed and two others were injured in separate quad bike accidents in Al Ain.
Abu Dhabi Police said on Monday that both accidents were the results of reckless driving.
The first crash happened in the Nahil area of Al Ain on Friday night. An Emirati in his 30s was killed and another rider was severely injured.
The second accident was reported in the Saih Sabra area. An Emirati, also in his 30s, died and another suffered moderate injuries.
Abu Dhabi Police urged visitors and bikers to obey public safety regulations and avoid reckless driving on desert terrain.
Police officials said they will increase safety campaigns as more riders take to the desert for the winter season.
