RAS AL KHAIMAH // Two men were rescued in Ras Al Khaimah on Saturday night after their vehicle crashed into the sea.
The men, from Arab countries and in their twenties, were driving in an area of Al Rams that lacked street lighting, which led to the accident, said Brig Hassan Ibrahim, deputy director general of RAK Police central operations.
Police, ambulance and a marine rescue team responded to a call about the incident from a woman who was nearby, said Brig Ibrahim.
“The youths could get out of the vehicle. The National Ambulance team provided them with emergency medical services and they are in good condition,” he said.
He urged motorists to pay attention while driving, especially at night.
