ABU DHABI // Motorists faced lengthy delays heading southbound on the E11 near Dubai Aluminium in Jebel Ali after a two-car collision caused tailbacks to Abu Dhabi on Sunday morning.
The Dubai Police command centre received a report at 8.47am about the accident involving two vehicles, with one of them hitting the central reservation.
Police and ambulance were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Dubai Police took to Twitter, urging drivers to exercise caution: “Swerving suddenly on the highway can lead to accidents”.
