The UAE Government said on Monday that Emiratis and residents will be allowed to travel abroad from June 23.
People will be able to fly to some destinations under conditions and procedures which are yet to be announced, it said in a tweet. Details will be announced later.
The UAE closed its borders to commercial flights on March 24. Since then, special repatriation flights have taken off from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and now outgoing passenger flights are available to book.
As it stands, all travellers need permission to return to the UAE from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship before they can book a flight home.
At this point, all travellers arriving in the UAE must undergo a 14-day quarantine.
Travel agents expect a full return to international travel by August and September.
Deals will take the form of full travel packages including air fares, accommodation and tours, with intra-Middle East options expected to be most popular.
