A two-year-old boy is in a coma after falling off a quad bike in Sharjah on Wednesday.
The toddler was initially rushed to hospital in Kalba, where the accident happened, before being transferred to Fujairah Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
He is understood to be suffering from a brain haemorrhage, bruising to the lungs and abdomen and a bone fracture in his left shoulder.
It is not known if the vehicle was stationary at the time of the accident or if it was being driven.
