DUBAI // Four Pakistani men hid the body of a 19-year-old woman murdered by one of their compatriots who ran a brothel, a court has heard.
One of the four men left the country the same day they disposed of the body in Umm Al Quwain, prosecutors say. The other three, aged 26, 27 and 37, admitted on Sunday to hiding the body of Anila Islam.
A UAQ Municipality worker found the body at 8am on June 26 and called police. The body was missing an arm, which was believed to have been chewed off by stray dogs.
The Pakistani was said to have killed her because she ran off from a client.
Police managed to identify the dead woman.

“Our investigations confirmed the woman was brought to the country to work in the sex industry and that she was killed in a building in Al Riffa,” a policeman said.
“The defendants said that the killer told them she threw herself out of the window and died.”
He said the three were arrested on September 30 last year but the fourth and the killer remained at large.
During interrogations, the three said they received a call from the killer about 3am, telling them about the incident and asking for their help to get rid of the body.
One of the defendants said that they took a plastic bag and wrapped up the corpse. They offered the building’s security guard free sex with prostitutes if he kept the security cameras off them while they removed the body.
They then drove to UAQ, ditched the body and left. One left the country that same day, prosecutors say.
The next hearing is scheduled for February 17.
