The Museum of the Future has postponed its official opening to 2020, Dubai Media Office has announced. Its opening is, however, one step closer with the completion of its curvaceous structure on Monday. The Dh500 million museum's was <a href="https://www.thenational.ae/business/travel-and-tourism/sheikh-mohammed-establishes-dubai-s-museum-of-the-future-1.77963">originally planned for opening in 2017</a>, which was later postponed to 2019. The museum will be a research centre with labs and classrooms, as well as a space for visitors to experience technologies under development. Visitors will use wearable devices for “dynamic interactive experiences” and there will also be AI Guides and Social Companions.
