The Quran memorisation course will be split into two groups: one for boys from 7 to 13 and another for 14 to 18-year-olds. The centre will also provide two sessions for girls.

Specialists from the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments will help the children to understand the rules of reading and reciting the Quran.

The azan course involves eight lectures for children from 7 to 18. Boys from 14 to 17 can participate in the photography course conducted by professional photographers.

The reading course, for boys and girls aged from 7 to 12, aims to provide them with reading skills and teach them to summarise literary works.

Talal Al Mazrouei, director of events and activities at the centre, said it was keen to educate the younger generation about the values and teachings of their religion.

The centre, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, is sponsored and supported by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. For more information visit http://www.szgmc.ae
