Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has met with a number of high achieving pupils and congratulated them on their hard work.
Sheikh Mohammed received the 12th grade pupils and their parents at Al Bahr Palace on Monday.
He said their achievements were a result of persistence and cooperation between their families and schools, and he encouraged them to keep working hard to achieve their goals.
Sheikh Mohammed said education was a priority for the country, and he spoke about the importance of advancing practices in line with the latest international standards.
Sheikh Mohammed called on teachers to keep up to date with modern methods in order to provide pupils with the knowledge and skills they need to become active members of society and serve their country.
He also stressed the willingness of the leadership to support the development of the country’s education system.
