February 9, 2021, will go down as the momentous day the Hope probe completed its remarkable journey to Mars.
For some overjoyed parents across the UAE, there will be even more reason to remember the date.
While the probe entered the the Red Planet's orbit, there were some new arrivals back on Earth.
Dubai Media Office commemorated the mission to Mars by releasing pictures of babies born on the same day.
They are a long way from being able to walk, but could these little ones be floating in space one day?
They will have plenty of incentive after being dressed in mini astronaut suits emblazoned with the UAE flag.
Maj Hazza Al Mansouri secured his place in history when he became the first Emirati to soar into space in September 2019.
Two more astronauts will be announced imminently by the UAE Space Agency.
A growing space fleet could have a few more additions in years to come.
New life brings new hope that the UAE's adventures in space are only just getting started.
