RAK police rescue German tourists from Jebel Jais



A group of German tourist aged between 17 and 74 have been rescued from Jebel Jais, Ras Al Khaimah, after getting lost.

RAK teams rushed to the rescue after a report was made to police at 6am on Saturday, said Maj Tareq Mohammed Al-Sharhan, head of the ambulance and rescue department at the General Directorate of Central Operations.

He said the group included a married couple, their son and the husband's sister, who lost their way back to their vehicles, which were at the bottom of the mountain.
