Police saved the life of a man threatening to jump from a tower in Abu Dhabi.
The man, who was described as Asian and is in his 20s, climbed a telecoms tower in Al Hameem Street on Thursday with the intention of committing suicide, said Abu Dhabi Police.
Police sent a team including paramedics and members of Civil Defence to the scene..
The man was successfully talked down by emergency services.
Col Muslim Al Ameri, police director of the external regions, said the man was dealing with personal problems.
Abu Dhabi Police released details of the incident on its official Facebook account.
