Dubai and Abu Dhabi police have urged motorists to drive with caution as fog will continue to limit early morning visibility in the coming days.
In Dubai, crashes were reported on the D62 Nad Al Hammar round, on the D83 Al Rebaat Street near Emirates Aviation College and on D63 Umm Suqeim Road near the Ministry of Economy, causing traffic to back up to E44 Al Khail Road, and on the E11 Al Ittihad Road after Al Mulla Plaza.
Fog in the Saih Shuaib area west of Abu Dhabi reduced visibility to 80 metres this morning, said Dubai Police. Heavy fog was also reported on Emirates Road after Al Qudra Bridge and on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road after Global Village.

More fog and mist is expected in the coming days, with humidity reaching up to 95 per cent on the coast and the interior. Drivers are advised to reduce speed and exercise good judgment and patience.
Today’s forecast is “relatively hot in general” with highs of up to 44°C in the interior and 40°C on the coast, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology. The evening will be mild, with temperatures dropping as low as 23°C on the coast and 20°C in the interior.
There will be clouds in the east of the country and rough seas in the Arabian Gulf this afternoon.
