DUBAI // Emarat stations across the emirate were selling petrol again and receiving regular deliveries yesterday after a week of shortages, pump supervisors said.
Stations on Sheikh Zayed Road, Beach Road and Al Wasl Road had enough fuel supplies by Friday morning to meet customers' needs, they confirmed.
"The problem has been solved now," said the supervisor at Emarat's Umm Suqeim station, Yam Bodam from Nepal.

"We have been receiving regular deliveries. People panicked a few days ago, but we have not had any complaints this weekend."
Last week's shortages stemmed from a "hold-up in logistics operations after tanker lorries failed to arrive to the loading decks on schedule", Emarat said in a statement.
About 60 stations were affected, but all had expected to be back to normal by the end of last week, according to the company.
Emarat has 170 stations across Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
A customer who had stopped to fill his car at the Umm Suqeim branch yesterday afternoon said that matters seemed to have returned to normal.
"I tried to fill with petrol on Sheikh Zayed Road a few days ago, but was redirected to another petrol station," said Marsel Oonincx from Holland.
"I did not know what was going on until I got to the office and heard about it from colleagues."
Another attendant at the Emarat Al Ameen station on Al Wasl Road said the shortage seemed to have been resolved.
"Everything is perfectly fine. We have received deliveries," said Mehboob Navalur, from India. Customers queued up to fill their fuel tanks at the Emarat Al Quoz station and Emarat al Shurooq station on Sheikh Zayed Road.
A station supervisor in Al Quoz who declined to be named said the situation was under control, judging from the number of cars at the station.
Othman al Shehi, an Emirati customer, said he was not worried about the shortages.
"If I don't find Special, I will just fill with Super. I was not worried because I know that situations like these get resolved quickly," he said.
Another customer said she was able to fill her car with petrol on Friday and was fortunate not to have encountered any problems in the past few days.
"To be honest, we had no issues filling petrol and we managed to get some more today," said Fatima Radi from Morocco.
