Mass promotions for Dubai police force officers



DUBAI // Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has issued a decree to promote 4,566 officers and non-commissioned officers in the police force.

Lt Gen Dahi Khalfan Tamim, the Chief of Dubai Police, said Sheikh Mohammed's decree included 26 lieutenant colonels to be promoted to colonel, 31 majors to lieutenant colonel, 13 captains to major, 23 first lieutenants to captain, and 123 lieutenants to first lieutenant.

Among those promoted were Brig Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, head of CID; Brig Mohamed Saeed Bakhit, head of General Department of eServices; Brig Mohammed Saad Al Sharif, head of the Regulatory Office at Dubai Police; and Brig Dr Ahmad Eid Al Mansouri, head of the Dubai Educational District.
