Man blames coffee for insulting rulers

A man who insulted UAE Rulers because he “drinks too much coffee” said he was not prepared for his defence, the Federal Supreme Court heard.

Emirati E S, 48, said he forgot to request the case files during the last hearing.

He is accused of insulting the President, Vice President, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi verbally in his workplace.

E S previously denied the accusations, and said he has anger management issues.

He also said he drinks a lot of coffee, which could be a reason for his outbursts.
