DUBAI // British rockers Kasabian are to perform at Dubai's Sevens Stadium early next year, it was announced this morning.
The multi award-winning four-piece will play the emirate on Friday, February 10, in support of their acclaimed new album, Velociprator!
Thomas Oveson, of promoter Done Events, said: "I remember first listening to Kasabian in 2004 when they were the most exciting new band coming out of the UK, and now they are firmly established as one of the best live acts around – so it's about time we present them in concert here in the Middle East."
Kasabian have sold more than one million albums worldwide since the release of the self-titled debut in 2004. They have twice reached number one in the UK album chart, with Empire and West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum.
