The four helicopter crew members who died when their search and rescue aircraft hit an adventure zipline in Ras Al Khaimah have been named.
The National Search and Rescue Centre said the deceased pilots were Saqr Saeed Mohamed Abdullah Al Yamahi and Hameed Mohamed Obaid Al Zaabi.
It also said navigator Jasim Abdullah Ali Tunaiji and first aid medic Mark Roxburgh died in the accident.
The rescue centre expressed its "sincere sympathies with the crew's families".
Investigations were continuing on Sunday morning after the crash on Saturday evening.
Eyewitness footage widely shared on social media shows the moment the helicopter spun to the ground before exploding.
The civil aviation authority said that the Agusta 139 craft was on a rescue mission in the Jebel Jais area when it crashed at 5.50pm.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, ordered the investigation, state news agency WAM reported.
