Dubai has set up a vaccination centre capable of inoculating 4,000 people per day in just 72 hours.
Authorities released a video of the work done to prepare the centre. It was transformed from an empty shell to a fully functioning clinic in a matter of days.
The new One Central clinic, near World Trade Centre, is one of dozens of vaccination centres set up across Dubai as part of the mass vaccination drive.
The video shared by Dubai Media Office shows carpets being fitted, before tarpaulin is laid out on top and booths are built to administer the vaccines. A separate socially distanced waiting area is also created, with chairs laid out in neat rows.
Once complete, the clinic becomes a hive of activity as the first customers are welcomed in.
On Sunday, Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed, chairman of Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, visited three vaccination centres, including One Central, as he called on members of the public to take the shot.
"The growing demand for the Covid-19 vaccine reflects the success of Dubai’s and the UAE’s campaign against the pandemic," he said.
"To consolidate the progress that has been achieved, we call on everyone to continue stringently adhering to precautionary measures. The community’s commitment is vital in ensuring a full restoration of normalcy," he said.
On Sunday, the UAE approved the use of the coronavirus vaccine for youths aged 16 and over.
In total, almost 1.9 million people have received a Covid-19 vaccine across the country. This equates to a distribution rate of 19.04 doses for every 100 people.
Dubai is administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to select groups, including people over 60, anyone with chronic diseases, people with disabilities, frontline workers and those in essential sectors.
Vaccination with the Pfizer jab for the rest of the emirate's population is planned for April.

What sanctions would be reimposed?
Under ‘snapback’, measures imposed on Iran by the UN Security Council in six resolutions would be restored, including:
- An arms embargo
- A ban on uranium enrichment and reprocessing
- A ban on launches and other activities with ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons, as well as ballistic missile technology transfer and technical assistance
- A targeted global asset freeze and travel ban on Iranian individuals and entities
- Authorisation for countries to inspect Iran Air Cargo and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines cargoes for banned goods
