Fitness fans looking for an alternative to the UAE's high-temperature training can cool things down by registering for Ski Dubai’s annual Ice Warrior Challenge.
The indoor ski slope at Mall of the Emirates will be converted to an icy obstacle course on Friday, October 6.
Participants will race through snow, swing from frosty monkey bars, scale walls and navigate an inflatable zorb ball maze at -4°C.
Part of the Dh250 admission will be donated to the Noor Dubai Initiative for the visually impaired.

The event has raised more than Dh350,000 for charity since it began in 2009.
The winning male and female participants will receive 125,000 Emirates Skywards Miles and other prizes.
The Ice Warrior Challenge is suitable for all fitness levels and open to participants age 16 and up.
Registration closes at 11.59 on October 1, or when places sell out.
