Fujairah workers evacuated from accommodation after fire incident

A fire broke out on Monday during Iftar time in three caravans at a workers’ accommodation in Fujairah.

Fujairah Civil Defence teams received a report about the fire at 6.51pm in an accommodation in Al Bithnah area and immediately dispatched firefighting teams to the site.

The fire was contained and all workers were evacuated.

“The team managed to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading while the fire resulted in material damage only and no injuries were reported during the accident,” said a spokesman of Fujairah Civil Defence.
