Dubai Health Authority has announced restricted working hours for its hospitals and health centres over the long Eid weekend, which begins on Thursday, July 30 until August 2.
Specialised clinics at Latifa, Rashid and Dubai Hospitals will be closed for the holidays, while emergency departments will operate as normal.
All primary healthcare centres will also close during the break, except for Nad Al Hamar and Al Barsha, which will be open around the clock as usual.
DHA-run Al Nasr Club and Shabab Al Ahli drive-through coronavirus testing centres will be closed during the holidays.
The Dubai Municipality Clinic for Covid-19 evaluation and testing in Al Rigga will close on the first day of Eid and reopen the day after from 8am to 9.30pm.
Those who want to be tested can go to drive-through locations across the emirate.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health and Prevention announced details for its 28 primary health care centres and affiliated facilities during the break.
Emergency departments at all hospitals and five health centres will be working around the clock.
This includes Wasit and Al Madam centres in Sharjah, and the Ras Al Khaimah, Al Manie, and Al Khalibiya facilities in Fujairah.
“Everything is all set to receive patients and to meet the demands of the Northern Emirates population during Eid Al Adha holidays,” said Dr Hussein Abdel Rahman Al-Rand, undersecretary of the ministry’s health centres and clinics.
“This comes as part of MoHAP’s commitment to sustaining efficient and quality healthcare services, with Covid-19 precautionary measures in place.”

Types of bank fraud
1) Phishing
Fraudsters send an unsolicited email that appears to be from a financial institution or online retailer. The hoax email requests that you provide sensitive information, often by clicking on to a link leading to a fake website.
2) Smishing
The SMS equivalent of phishing. Fraudsters falsify the telephone number through “text spoofing,” so that it appears to be a genuine text from the bank.
3) Vishing
The telephone equivalent of phishing and smishing. Fraudsters may pose as bank staff, police or government officials. They may persuade the consumer to transfer money or divulge personal information.
4) SIM swap
Fraudsters duplicate the SIM of your mobile number without your knowledge or authorisation, allowing them to conduct financial transactions with your bank.
5) Identity theft
Someone illegally obtains your confidential information, through various ways, such as theft of your wallet, bank and utility bill statements, computer intrusion and social networks.
6) Prize scams
Fraudsters claiming to be authorised representatives from well-known organisations (such as Etisalat, du, Dubai Shopping Festival, Expo2020, Lulu Hypermarket etc) contact victims to tell them they have won a cash prize and request them to share confidential banking details to transfer the prize money.
