The UAE recorded 1,251 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday, the lowest number so far this year.
Cases in the UAE spiked at almost 4,000 a day in late January, but have since been gradually dropping, with the seven-day average now less than 1,500 for the first time this year.
The new low number of cases came as more vaccines were given across the country.
The latest infections brought the overall tally to 546,182
Another 1,222 people overcame the virus in the past 24 hours and the recovery total reached 526,302.
The death toll stands at 1,631 following the confirmation of two more fatalities in the 24-hour reporting period.
The number of active cases in the Emirates rose to 18,249.
An additional 103,918 tests were conducted in the 24-hour period as part of a mass screening campaign.
The ministry said 2,406 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered in the past 24 hours.
Since the UAE embarked on its nationwide testing and vaccination campaign, more than 46.8 million tests have been conducted and more than 11.4 million doses of vaccines have been given to eligible patients.
