The UAE reported another 2,631 cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, after 184,981 tests were carried out in the past 24 hours.
Recoveries exceeded new infections as 3,589 people were cleared of the virus.
Fifteen patients died of as a result of related complications, increasing the total death toll to 1,001.
On Friday, the UAE reported the highest number of daily Covid-19 deaths to date, with 18 patients succumbing to the virus.
Since the pandemic began, the UAE has recorded a total of 345,605 cases of coronavirus and 326,780 recoveries.
On Friday, it was announced that the Emirates administered more Covid-19 vaccine doses for every 100 people than any other nation in the past week.
According to statistics from scientific online production Our World in Data, the UAE carried out a daily average of 1.62 doses of vaccine per 100 people from February 4 to February 10.
The figure placed it ahead of Israel, which previously took the top spot for the most number of vaccinations conducted over seven days.
The head of the World Health Organisation said a drop in coronavirus around the world is encouraging.
However, he cautioned against relaxing restrictions that have helped curb the spread of the coronavirus.
"These declines appear to be due to countries implementing public health measures more stringently," Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.
“We should all be encouraged, but complacency is as dangerous as the virus itself," he said.
Globally, there have been 107 million confirmed coronavirus cases and 2.3 million deaths.

Iran's dirty tricks to dodge sanctions
There’s increased scrutiny on the tricks being used to keep commodities flowing to and from blacklisted countries. Here’s a description of how some work.
1 Going Dark
A common method to transport Iranian oil with stealth is to turn off the Automatic Identification System, an electronic device that pinpoints a ship’s location. Known as going dark, a vessel flicks the switch before berthing and typically reappears days later, masking the location of its load or discharge port.
2. Ship-to-Ship Transfers
A first vessel will take its clandestine cargo away from the country in question before transferring it to a waiting ship, all of this happening out of sight. The vessels will then sail in different directions. For about a third of Iranian exports, more than one tanker typically handles a load before it’s delivered to its final destination, analysts say.
3. Fake Destinations
Signaling the wrong destination to load or unload is another technique. Ships that intend to take cargo from Iran may indicate their loading ports in sanction-free places like Iraq. Ships can keep changing their destinations and end up not berthing at any of them.
4. Rebranded Barrels
Iranian barrels can also be rebranded as oil from a nation free from sanctions such as Iraq. The countries share fields along their border and the crude has similar characteristics. Oil from these deposits can be trucked out to another port and documents forged to hide Iran as the origin.
