The UAE recorded 1,321 Covid-19 cases on Thursday, taking the number of infections to 189,866.
A further 792 patients were given the all-clear as the recovery tally climbed to 166,541.
Officials said three patients died of related complications, raising the death toll to 629.
The latest infections were detected as a result of an additional 139,909 tests in the past 24 hours.
The number of active cases in the country increased to 22,696 as new infections continue to outstrip recoveries.
More than 18.9 million Covid-19 tests have been carried out across the country as part of a robust screening campaign.
The UAE is among the top countries for testing per capita as it seeks to identify, isolate and treat cases before the infection can spread.
A vaccination programme is currently under way to inoculate Emiratis and residents against the deadly virus.
Hospitals have prepared for an influx in bookings to administer the Sinopharm-developed vaccine in two doses.
The UAE is also helping to distribute vaccines worldwide with Abu Dhabi's Hope Consortium on Thursday signing agreements with four international logistics companies to boost its global reach.
Partnerships with Agility Logistics, Aramex, Hellman Worldwide Logistics and Kuehne+Nagel will increase potential distribution coverage to 80 per cent of the world, according to Abu Dhabi Government Media Office.
Emirates has also established a hub at its SkyCargo centre in Dubai to allow the carrier to fly in vaccines from manufacturing sites globally.

Children who witnessed blood bath want to help others
Aged just 11, Khulood Al Najjar’s daughter, Nora, bravely attempted to fight off Philip Spence. Her finger was injured when she put her hand in between the claw hammer and her mother’s head.
As a vital witness, she was forced to relive the ordeal by police who needed to identify the attacker and ensure he was found guilty.
Now aged 16, Nora has decided she wants to dedicate her career to helping other victims of crime.
“It was very horrible for her. She saw her mum, dying, just next to her eyes. But now she just wants to go forward,” said Khulood, speaking about how her eldest daughter was dealing with the trauma of the incident five years ago. “She is saying, 'mama, I want to be a lawyer, I want to help people achieve justice'.”
Khulood’s youngest daughter, Fatima, was seven at the time of the attack and attempted to help paramedics responding to the incident.
“Now she wants to be a maxillofacial doctor,” Khulood said. “She said to me ‘it is because a maxillofacial doctor returned your face, mama’. Now she wants to help people see themselves in the mirror again.”
Khulood’s son, Saeed, was nine in 2014 and slept through the attack. While he did not witness the trauma, this made it more difficult for him to understand what had happened. He has ambitions to become an engineer.
