The UAE announced 3,236 Covid-19 cases and 14 deaths on Tuesday.
Health officials said another 3,634 patients had overcome the virus within the past 24 hours.
The latest daily figures raised the country’s caseload to 355,131.
Of this number, 340,365 people recovered and 1,041 died.
Cases have been rising since the start of the year, and fatalities also increased.
In the first 16 days of February, 191 deaths were recorded among Covid-19 patients.
The figure represents about 18 per cent of the overall UAE death toll.
Officials have taken steps to drive down infections.
Schools in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain switched to online learning while capacity at public venues such as malls, cinemas and hotels was cut in all parts of the country.
Active cases fell to 13,725 as recoveries exceeded new infections for a sixth day running.
An additional 193,163 tests were conducted, raising the overall tally to more than 28.4 million.
It is the second-highest number tests on a single day, surpassed only by the 207,432 carried out on Sunday.
Mass testing and immunisation remain the pillars of the UAE’s fight to contain the virus.
More than five million doses of vaccine have been administered since a national inoculation push began two months ago.
