Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed thanked the people leading the UAE’s fight against the spread of Covid-19, and said he was lucky to have their support “in the midst of the toughest times”.
In a video call, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces asked leaders of various organisations and governmental agencies if they needed help.
Among them was Dr Farida Al Hosani, a spokeswoman for the government's health sector, who updates the public on in a televised briefing every two days.
“The questions that arise today is, is there any request from your side to us? Is there any request that we can help and be there with you in managing this battle?," Sheikh Mohamed said.
One replied by saying Sheikh Mohamed’s support and directives was all they required.
“We want you to take care of your health and be safe. You are the top of the pyramid who is leading us forward," they said.
The Crown Prince thanked his team for everything they had achieved so far.
"I want to congratulate you for your efforts... and personally say that I’m very lucky to have people like you who are standing firmly in the midst of the toughest times." said Sheikh Mohamed.
He said his main concern was for the UAE’s senior citizens, “our fathers and mothers”.
“We don’t want to lose any of them,” he said.
“Praise be to Allah, I’m fine and my mother is fine too and everyone with her is fine," said Sheikh Mohamed.
On Saturday, the UAE announced 376 new cases of Covid-19, 170 recoveries and four deaths.
In total, there were 3,736 confirmed cases, 588 recoveries and 20 deaths as of Sunday morning.
Global cases of the new coronavirus have now topped 1.77 million, with almost 109,000 deaths.

Types of bank fraud
1) Phishing
Fraudsters send an unsolicited email that appears to be from a financial institution or online retailer. The hoax email requests that you provide sensitive information, often by clicking on to a link leading to a fake website.
2) Smishing
The SMS equivalent of phishing. Fraudsters falsify the telephone number through “text spoofing,” so that it appears to be a genuine text from the bank.
3) Vishing
The telephone equivalent of phishing and smishing. Fraudsters may pose as bank staff, police or government officials. They may persuade the consumer to transfer money or divulge personal information.
4) SIM swap
Fraudsters duplicate the SIM of your mobile number without your knowledge or authorisation, allowing them to conduct financial transactions with your bank.
5) Identity theft
Someone illegally obtains your confidential information, through various ways, such as theft of your wallet, bank and utility bill statements, computer intrusion and social networks.
6) Prize scams
Fraudsters claiming to be authorised representatives from well-known organisations (such as Etisalat, du, Dubai Shopping Festival, Expo2020, Lulu Hypermarket etc) contact victims to tell them they have won a cash prize and request them to share confidential banking details to transfer the prize money.
