The UAE reported 317 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, pushing the total number of infections to 905,468.
Another 323 people recovered in the 24-hour reporting period, taking the overall tally to 889,262.
No deaths have been reported since March 7, with the toll remaining at 2,302.
There are 13,904 active cases in the country.
The latest cases were detected from 221,440 PCR tests. Nearly 161 million tests have been carried out in the country since the first case was reported on January 29.
The country's nationwide testing to help in the early detection of coronavirus cases and a comprehensive vaccination campaign have limited the spread of the pandemic.
More than 24.8 million vaccines have been administered since December 2020. According to the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, 100 per cent of the population has received one dose of the vaccine while 97.98 per cent is fully vaccinated.
In global developments, more countries have reported cases of BA.4, a sub-strand of the highly contagious Omicron coronavirus strain, first detected in Limpopo, South Africa, on January 10.
Ireland on Monday said it has detected its first cases and the variant has also been reported in India.

How to join and use Abu Dhabi’s public libraries
• There are six libraries in Abu Dhabi emirate run by the Department of Culture and Tourism, including one in Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
• Libraries are free to visit and visitors can consult books, use online resources and study there. Most are open from 8am to 8pm on weekdays, closed on Fridays and have variable hours on Saturdays, except for Qasr Al Watan which is open from 10am to 8pm every day.
• In order to borrow books, visitors must join the service by providing a passport photograph, Emirates ID and a refundable deposit of Dh400. Members can borrow five books for three weeks, all of which are renewable up to two times online.
• If users do not wish to pay the fee, they can still use the library’s electronic resources for free by simply registering on the website. Once registered, a username and password is provided, allowing remote access.
