ABU DHABI // Abu Dhabi Municipality has carried out a campaign to remove graffiti and clean mosques in Al Wathba as part of Asematy (my capital) programme.
Mohammed Ali Al Mansouri, director of Al Wathba Municipal Centre told Al Ittihad, The National's sister publication, that keeping mosques clean and in line with hygiene standards is a priority for the municipality.
Mr Al Mansouri added that the clean-up drive urged all members of the public to take care of public service facilities and keep them clean.
Female students from Al Noor School for Elementary Education took part in the campaign.
