The Abu Dhabi Government has announced on its website a list of public holidays for 2014.
Federal ministries, public departments and institutions will be closed on the following holidays:
. January 1, New Year's Day
. January 12, the Prophet's birthday
. May 26, Israa and Miraj night [Updated May 13, 2014]
. June 29, Ramadan [Updated June 18, 2014]

. July 28, Eid Al Fitr [Updated July 20, 2014]
. October 3, Arafat Day [Updated September 25, 2014] 
. October 4, Eid Al Adha [Updated September 25, 2014]
. October 25, Hijri New Year  [Updated October 20, 2014]
. December 2 and 3, National Day  [Updated November 7, 2014]
