UMM AL QUWAIN // Sheikh Saud bin Saqr, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, offered his condolences to the family of the fallen UAE serviceman Ahmed Al Balooshi.
The Armed Forces member died in Germany on Thursday from injuries suffered in Marib last month while serving with the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen, reported state news agency Wam.
After Al Balooshi’s body arrived on Friday at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, it was taken to Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla mosque in Umm Al Quwain where the Crown Prince, Sheikh Rashid bin Saud, performed the funeral prayer.
