The Vice President and Ruler of Dubai received Ibrahim Al Mashrekh, UAE ambassador to Austria, and Saeed Al Maqbali, ambassador to Comoros, at Qasr Al Watan, where they pledged their loyalty to the UAE and its President.

The ambassadors vowed to respect the UAE’s constitution and laws and to prioritise the Emirates’ interests while performing their diplomatic tasks.
Sheikh Mohammed called on the ambassadors to work sincerely to consolidate the UAE's relations with Austria and Comoros.
Sheikh Mohammed directed them to be ambassadors of peace and tolerance and to represent the best of Emirati cultural heritage abroad.

They each conveyed the greetings of their leaders to President Sheikh Khalifa, and Sheikh Mohammed and expressed their happiness at representing their nations in the UAE
Sheikh Mohammed wished the new ambassadors success and encouraged them to connect with UAE ministers and officials – particularly in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation – to facilitate their work.
