Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, spoke with Britain's UK's Prince Charles on Friday to offer condolences on the death of his father, Prince Philip.
During the phone call, Sheikh Mohamed wished Queen Elizabeth II good health.
The Prince of Wales expressed his appreciation and thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his wishes.
Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, died on April 9 at the age of 99 and is to be buried on Saturday.
He was in hospital for a month after being admitted as a precautionary measure on February 16.
Prince Philip was discharged on March 16 after treatment for an infection and surgery for a heart condition.
Philip, a Greek prince, married Elizabeth in 1947 and played a key role in modernising the British monarchy in the post-Second World War period.
They married five years before she became queen, and Philip was the longest-serving royal consort in British history.
The couple had four children, eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
"He has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years," the queen said in a rare personal tribute to Philip, in a speech marking their 50th wedding anniversary in 1997.

- Jebel Akhdar is a two-hour drive from Muscat airport or a six-hour drive from Dubai. It’s impossible to visit by car unless you have a 4x4. Phone ahead to the hotel to arrange a transfer.
- If you’re driving, make sure your insurance covers Oman.
- By air: Budget airlines Air Arabia, Flydubai and SalamAir offer direct routes to Muscat from the UAE.
- Tourists from the Emirates (UAE nationals not included) must apply for an Omani visa online before arrival at evisa.rop.gov.om. The process typically takes several days.
- Flash floods are probable due to the terrain and a lack of drainage. Always check the weather before venturing into any canyons or other remote areas and identify a plan of escape that includes high ground, shelter and parking where your car won’t be overtaken by sudden downpours.

The calling app is available to download on Google Play and Apple App Store
To successfully install ToTok, users are asked to enter their phone number and then create a nickname.
The app then gives users the option add their existing phone contacts, allowing them to immediately contact people also using the application by video or voice call or via message.
