Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed held talks with the President of Switzerland on Sunday.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi met Ueli Maurer during the launch of the Abu Dhabi Youth Hub.
Mr Maurer had earlier met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, as part of a two-day tour of the UAE.
The European leader also discussed efforts to strengthen ties between Switzerland the UAE during a meeting with Obaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, at the St Regis Abu Dhabi Hotel, as part of the official visit.
"The Ministry of Finance is keen to strengthen bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership with Switzerland, which has witnessed growth over the past years at various levels, especially economic, financial and trade,' said Mr Al Tayer.
"With its attractive investment structure, the UAE is an important regional hub for many Swiss banks and financial institutions."
