Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has held talks with the President of Nigeria in a bid to bolster ties with the African nation.
Sheikh Mohamed told Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently on a tour of the Middle East that has already seen him take part in the World Economic Forum in Jordan, that the UAE is eager to support Nigeria's development goals.
The two men discussed efforts to forge closer links between the UAE and Nigeria, Africa's most populous country, in matters of common interest such as trade and agriculture.
The President of Nigeria expressed his desire to strengthen the country's friendship with the UAE, for the benefit of both nations.
Ministers and senior officials from both countries were present at the meeting.

Real estate tokenisation project
Dubai launched the pilot phase of its real estate tokenisation project last month.
The initiative focuses on converting real estate assets into digital tokens recorded on blockchain technology and helps in streamlining the process of buying, selling and investing, the Dubai Land Department said.
Dubai’s real estate tokenisation market is projected to reach Dh60 billion ($16.33 billion) by 2033, representing 7 per cent of the emirate’s total property transactions, according to the DLD.
