SHARJAH // Khor Fakkan and Kalba have been connected to the emirate’s main power grid.
The Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (Sewa) has announced the completion of load transfer to its Transco station, which should mean an end to connection problems on the east coast.
“The completed project will ensure all areas in Kalba and Khor Fakkan have stable and consistent electricity during the hot summer,” said Rashid Al Leem, director of Sewa, adding the authority is monitoring daily operations in the eastern region to enhance performance.
