Gargash praises members of FNC

Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, commended the members of the Federal National Council (FNC) for their commitment to important issues affecting the UAE.

Dr. Gargash stressed the vital legislative role of the Council members citing the approval of the federal law on food safety after amendments. “This law is a step forward in enhancing the food safety and security of the community and its residents,’’ he said.

“The positive and constructive dialogue that took place at the Council during the meeting between the members of the Federal National Council and representatives of the government shows the genuine harmony between the legislative and executive authority in serving the state and society,” said Dr Gargash.

“The members of the Council have helped enrich the strategies of the government, and enabled it to provide the best services that meet the expectations of the UAE society.”
