Emirati serviceman dies in Yemen



An Emirati serviceman has died while serving the UAE Armed Forces in Yemen on Thursday.

Private First Class Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah Al Hosani died while serving in Operation Restoring Hope, the Saudi-led Arab Coalition effort to support and restore the legitimate government of Yemen to power.

The General Headquarters of the UAE Armed Forces announced his death on Thursday and conveyed its “sympathy and deepest condolences" to the martyr’s family, prayed to Allah that his soul will rest in eternal peace.

Last week, an Emirati soldier, first corporal Saeed Matar Ali Al Kaabi, died in Saudi Arabia while serving in operations "Al Hazm Storm and 'Restoring Hope" as part of the Saudi-led Arab coalition in the Najran region of the Kingdom.
